Welcome Students!
I hope everyone is enjoying their summer with family and I look
forward to meeting all my new students during the 2009 - 2010 school year. Please make sure that you complete your summer
reading as it is a great way to begin the school year.
Honors students should be checking the website often for helpful
information that will aid your work throughout the year. Email is the best way to communicate with me if you have a
question about assignments.
I wanted to send our a big THANK YOU to all my students and
collegues who have rallied around me to help me feel well. Words can not express how blessed I feel to work at such
a school of care, concern and love! To my awesome department who stepped up to teach, grade and inspire thank you!

ATTN DEBATE TEAM: Thank you so much for a great
season! I am so proud of all of you and remember to check out Debate Central for all the new updates on the poverty
resolve. Congrats to Roger and Jill our new captains. Thank you to Laura and Katie for all your

Class of 2009: The Memory
Garden Committee will be working to the Memory Garden this year. The Class of 2008 has donated funds to continue
this great community service project and plans for a gazebo are in the works. If you want to get involved, please see
Mrs. Vandigriff.
Book Club: We meet every second and forth Friday of the month.
What a turn out this past Friday! I am so excited! We are reading An Abundance of Katherines, so feel free
to join in on the discussions. We will be meeting at the movies in December to see Marley and Me
starring Jenifer Aniston! Visit One Book New Jersey Website to learn the new book selection for the year!
2009-2010 will be my tenth year at Jefferson Township High School. This year I am teaching Freshmen English,
and Mythology. I am the Debate Coach (new members are welcome!), and Book Club Advisor (new members are welcome!) If
you have any questions, please stop in Room D4 to visit me.
